LEAVE NO TRACE

  • plan ahead and prepare,

  • travel and camp on durable surfaces,

  • dispose of waste properly,

  • leave what you find,

  • minimize campfire impacts,

  • respect wildlife,

  • be considerate of other visitors.

The Eco Camp follows Leave No Trace principles. We encourage our guests to adopt this philosophy while staying at the camp.

⬅️ To get to The Eco Camp, after the gate - make a left. ⬅️

The Well House is marked with a red X.

⬅️ After the gate, make the first left to turn towards The Eco Camp. Then park your car facing the lounge tents, like in the picture. ⬅️

Camp Quiet Hours:

11 PM until 7 AM

(strict, because tents let all sound through and you have neighbors here)

Night guard on duty.

Please refrain from arguing with the night guard. If you are being told to keep it quiet, it is because your conduct is disruptive to other guests at The Eco Camp or Bluegrass Campground.

For the comfort of all of our guests, we do not permit anyone to act in a disruptive manner and will ask them to leave immediately. There are no repeated warnings. Please remember, The Eco Camp follows Leave No Trace.

Our trash setup at The Eco Camp does not support the use of single-use disposable silverware and dishes. If you plan to use single-use, disposable dishes, you need to be aware that the amount of trash generated is likely to exceed the amount of trash we can handle for you. In that case, you need to make plans to pack out your trash. We encourage that each camper in your party bring a cup, a plate, and a fork and a knife. Dishes can be washed on-site.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Eco Camp pays particular attention to providing you a very clean environment. Guests must ensure that they hand back the site in a clean and neat state, as anything else can put our staff at risk. If the site is not cleaned, we charge a cleaning fee of $45/30 minutes.

Each stay at The Eco Camp is completed after a walkthrough with Alex, the owner of the campground.

You and your party or group are responsible for handing over the campsite(s), kitchen area, and restroom(s) in a clean and usable condition. You must report any damage immediately.

Thank you for staying at The Eco Camp & supporting us.
